A man lies on his back on a floor in the dark, head tipped back, his face and hair smeared with blood.

This movie is criminally boring and nobody fucking acts like these people. While not unfathomable, it is so hard to believe someone looking me in the eye and saying “yes, I loved this film.”

There are definitely one or two interesting filmmaking techniques going on in here but that’s just about it. The plot is meandering, the scenes are bleak and un-engaging, the characters are begging for some kind of depth that is actually explored and not hinted at…

…and rivers of gore and body parts just ain’t gonna get you across that finish line, no matter how good they look. I’ll give some points for those cool transition shots when a consciousness was implanted into another body. I can’t bring myself to write another word about this bullshit.
